Saturday October 25th – INTRO TO ALCOHOL INK PAINTING at The Grove’s upstairs boardroom. Supplies are included in the $75 enrolment. Registration can be done by sending an E-tranfer to instructor Rose Kamma Morrison’s email: rosesarkany@gmail.com and including your name in the E-transfer note.

Sunday October 19 – FILM FEST 2025 PRESENTED BY THE ALBERNI VALLEY MUSEUM At 5 p.m. the documentary “Kaneshatake: 270 Years of Resistance” will be screened. Tickets can be bought purchased at the museum, open Tues, Wed, Sat from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thurs 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Fri 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Saturday October 18 – COUNTRY FOR A CAUSE a country-themed fundraiser to support local breast cancer survivors at the Italian Hall from 6:30 to 11 p.m. Tickets are $50 and available at the Walk the Coast & Hilton Centre. The event is hosted by Alberni Valley Breast Connections.
