Saturday October 18 – HOCKEY DAY IN PA! Second annual event celebrates hockey in the Alberni Valley. Starts with a pancake breakfast at the Alberni Valley Multiplex, followed by a Port Alberni Bombers game, Alberni Valley Bulldogs game, minor hockey games, public skate, gear swap, mini festival and more.

Wednesday October 8 – WHEN THE SMOKE CLEARS At the Italian Hall starting at 7 p.m. people are invited to speak about the affects wildfire smoke has had on them while sharing their concerns and recommendations.

Folks who are new to the sport or want to brush up on their skills can head to the curling club at 7 p.m., it runs until 8 p.m. The cost is $50. To register, people can visit albernicurling.com.
